Jayne Wymark plays Detective Barnaby's wife Joyce on Midsomer Murders. A London native, Wymark is best known for her work in Midsomer Murders, The Sidmouth Letters (1982) and Poldark (1975). According to ovguide.com, Wymark has also appeared in UK television dramas such as The Bass Player and the Blonde, A Touch of Frost, Dangerfield, Lovejoy and Pie in the Sky. She also appeared as Jill Mason in the Birmingham Repertory Theater production of Equus.
